As with the GR ride ChoCha is doing the leg work on, I need to get some feedback on the Cedar Point trip that's sceduled for the beginning of October. I'd like to get a rough idea how many of us are planning on making arrangements to attend, and if you'll be bringing someone with you at all. PM me with your intentions, so I can gauge a little better what type of break and which hotel accomodations will be best. It would be nice for this to be as accurate as possible, however This is by no means a total comittment from you at this point. Just a gauge for me to plan with.

Once the specifics are worked out on this further, myself or ChoCha will post up an update.

 

If you guys go the 2nd weekend in october my my sorority and a few other here at school will be working the games for the weekend and staying there on the grounds for the weekend

Group discount starts at 15 people, as far as park entry that drops the price 10 bucks. Waiting for a call back on room rates still, more on that when I finish with their rep. :YEAH

I will be there the first weekend already. I usually go down every year with the family and stay in the cabins on the lake there. If riding you might wanna do late september. First weekend in October it is usually 50ish degrees.

Good but still puzzled lol. I thought Jefferson went all the way thru. Got to Selfridge and umm ya had to get on 94 anyway. So much for trying the scenic route thru the points.

 

Yeah, if you guys would have tried cutting through selfridge you'd probably have gotten shot at. Good to hear ya made it home OK though otherwise.

 

You have to go around the base. It's a pain in the *** to do. Jumping on 94 is easier. I have a military ID, I could've cut through the base. I would've told the gate guards they with me let us on this *****!

I've had next to no feedback from anyone on this, aside from a few comments in this post. Minimum required for any kind of break from the park is 15. Unfortunately only a handful of people have shown any interest in this event, as well as some others recently planned so I am cancelling it.

I'm sure that there are a few of you still looking to go, at this point I'll make a recommendation on the breakers express for lodging, phone number is
(419) 627-2106. You'll be responsible for making your own reservations, and all the related. There are no rooms set aside for us.

It would have been nice to have some participation with these things, but for what ever reason it has not been there. I apologize for those of you that were looking forward to this, but we cannot get group rates if the group is not involved.
