Re: Mechanic's?

I can fix rear brakes and as for your motor leasin it what are the details (ie car year and engine model) might be cheaper to get a used engine and just swap it in.

Soon as the car started f'n up, I coasted off the freeway.. parked it, and towed it.. so shoudnt be TO much damage... might need a crank, but that was part of the 300 in parts I figured... cranks like 220 my cost I think..
Your right tho... thats why I need someone to tear it down....

hes right though depends on how much damage is in there...i use to work at arrow racing in rochester tearing down and rebuilding viper motors and those bastards spun bearings quite a bit. thats why i was wondering how you were getting the parts so cheap. ive seen cranks rods and bearing caps all get toasted when this happens. the actualy set of bearings cost like a stick of gum its the damage that happens to the rest of the internals when the bearings take off

Worst one i seen though was when some *** leased a viper and put a supercharger on it and when the rods snapped the mallory in the crank shaft flew out and went right through the side of the engine block. and for some reason the motor got sent to me like i was gonna fix it lol. friggen dealership couldnt see the inch and a half hole in the side of the block and realize it needed to be replaced and not rebuilt i went home early that day
