Re: Hayabusa vs ZX14

yup yup no replacement for displacement. but the busa has been the top dawg for so long, i guess it's good that kawi decided to do somthing new and bigger. but it's rediculouse how long it takes them to do it,(ie 636 zx10)
bolth bikes are ugly but i would still take the busa if i had to because it's a bit more pleasing to the eye........a bit.

Re: Hayabusa vs ZX14

Just curious, wasn't the first or second year busa the fastest model top speed? I believe the bike was white and gold. Thought I remember reading about how that particular year was the fastest. then they detuned them because so may people got hurt.

they put a timing retard on there in 1-3, and 6th gear. 1-3 it retards timing in lower rpm and in 6th it retards the timing and limits top speed. Simple solution for this is to get a TRE. no problem. my 05 is now just as fast
