Angry Fock anti-war protestors!

"Wish You Were Here"
For all the free people that still protest.
You're welcome. We protect you and you are protected by the best.
Your voice is strong and loud,
but who will fight for you? No one standing in your crowd.
We are your fathers, brothers, and sons,
wearing the boots and carrying guns.
We are the ones that leave all we own,
to make sure your future is carved in stone.
We are the ones who fight and die,
We might not be able to save the world, Well, at least we try.
We walked the paths to where we are at
and we want no choice other than that.
so when you rally your group to complain,
take a look in the back of your brain.
In order for that flag you love to fly
wars must be fought and young men must die.
We came here to fight for the ones we hold dear.
If that's not respected, we would rather stay here.
So please stop yelling, put down your signs, and pray for those behind enemy lines.
When the conflict is over and all is well,
be thankful that we chose to go through hell.

Corporal Joshua Miles and all the boys from 3rd Batallion 2nd Marines,
Kuwait

This is from a freind of my in the war...hom and his battalion put wrote it and want it cirrculated

FOCK EM!

I had my bestfriend in from out of town last night and she and her boyfriend stayed at my house, but we all went to the bar before hand, and I saw him wearing a NO IRAQ WAR pin, I almost puked. I can't believe that one of MY friends would associate with someone who didn't support our troops.

I don't really know enough about the situation.. but, in my humble opinion, wearing a "No War in Iraq" pin or something similar does not necessarily mean you don't support our troops. I think it can mean that they just don't support this particular war..

Personally, I am Pro-war. However, many of my friends are against it, but they still respect and support the troops who are fighting. Of course there are the protestors who hate the war, hate the soldiers, hate the president, etc, etc.. but I don't know if that can solely be judged by the pin someone is wearing on their shirt.

My $.02.

I have had my fill of war discussions, so I won't respond but just leave it at this poem says it all.

I agree with you some what....but I feel it is disrespecting the troops in Iraq. A friend of mine who is over there(whom I haven't heard from since the first week of the war) Said alot of guys are upset about the anit-war shirts and pins and consider it a slap in the face.

Yeah, I agree with you too. I can completely understand how any Anti-war sentiment is like a slap in the face, as you put it. :twelve
