only works for those who were convicted in circuit courts not district courts. don't ask me how i know this.......

well felonies are circut court and distric court is for traffic and misnemeanor type things

felonys and sex offenders are the only thing that are open to the publib

Michigan seems to be doing everything online nowadays. When the state trooper came out for that tire versus house thing, he gave me his card with a website addy on the back. Said the report will be made avaiable online.

They can charge you in district court but most felony cases will be bound over to circut court to be charged. This is because circut court is bacisally like the county sheriff...They have joursidiction only in their county (i.e. Macomb circut court, Oakland circut court, etc.) Also, you can only be sent to prison by a circut court judge and to do that a pre-sentencing report must be done. If the judge exceeds those guidelines those usually are grounds for appeal( usually done on violent crimes )District courts are usually only for mistameanors or traffic violations.
