does anyone know where i mite be able to locate a head gasket for 2002 gsxr 1000? my bikes apart and waiting for the head gasket suzuki said they are on back order and they won't have them for 2 weeks is there any place i mite be able to find one in stock.

all i did was drop a shim on the valve. but i had the head taken off to make sure the pistons were ok.

ummm....your bike is at cafe right? maybe the new guy doesn't have it but i know they used to have a kick *** gasket maker........i take it he doesn't anymore? i know for sure maximum in toledo has the gasket maker....long drive but do u wanna ride?

 

I don't think the gasket makers can do headgaskets.
I might be wrong, but the systems I looked at were limited on it.

ya just paper gaskets if i remember correctly

 

Tried them no luck also tried volocity racing, dennis kirk, schnitz racing,
and a couple others I'm running out of places to call.

 

yes that's my bike they can't make that gasket it has metal in it
