Okay last night I was on my way downtown to meet my buddies and go riding. Well while on the freeway(I-75), some guy decides he wants to race me .... did I mention he was in a 98 Mustang Cobra I am criusing along at about 80mph.... there flapping there hands out the window throwing gang signs up.... they were four white guys from the burbs taunting the black guy on the bike... as most of you know, I ride an 01 R1..... I kick it down from 6th to 3rd and turn about half throttle. My front end comes up, so I let off a bit and pull to 140, then shift into 4th...... I sat at 152 for about 5 seconds and had this guy by about two blocks when I slowed down to 75mph so that I could go up my exit......the *** flies by me doing about 125mph or so still taunting ... then as he is approaching the end of the freeway, which ends in a 25mph curve, which I have taken on my bike at about 60 and I am damn near scraping my knee. Well he goes into this curve doing about 80mph....... I come up my exit and I see people running from the gas station to the fence looking over and down from the over pass so I loop around and pull up next to them and as if that is a black Mustang Cobra down there..... one guy says it was so I take off my helemet and take a look down... sure enough the guy did not make the curve and hit the wall almost head on . Needless to say the car was totaled..... so as the four guys were getting out of the car, I yelled down "dude what happened? do you not know how to drive that thing" Then one of them walks over and sits on the grass, so I thought I would ask if he was okay he said yes, so I replied with " but you feel like a dumb *** don't you"

I have no sympathy for stupidity....... ignorance may be an excuse, but stupidity should be punishable

 

Hopefully no one was seriosly injured, besides a severly bruised ego...

If only this lesson could teach all the other dumb *** cagers...

 

it serves them right, i don't know about where you live, but 1 out of 4 people here drives a mustang or camaro, and they'll all try, and I'm like "do you really want to do this to yourself?"

It is rare, but every now and again you see a mustang that actually has some power... But the other 99% are choads like you described here. I usually just shift down to 4th... run it up to about 150 for 5 or 10 seconds... and don't see them anymore... haha! The only thing worse than a mustang, is those damn ricer whatever with a fart can and all the gay and furious **** from autozone stuck on them!!!

 

gotta be careful around here....there are some vehicles that most would call ricer that can handle their own.......

I have more problems with V6 mustangs and Camaro owners than anything else........

 

yeah, there aren't too many ricers out there that can take a bike, and only a few more v8's, but I hate anybody that would put autozone parts on their ride

 

We have a few around here with twin turbos, blah blah... Tha "REAL" deal... but 99% are **** lickin' choads that watched fast and furious to many times... and made to many trips to autozone to try and emulate... you know the fart can cars i am talking about...

 

When we were in Greektown last night, the hazmat truck that was at the accident stopped by. Said something about gas being everywhere from that accident. What a bunch of idiots.

My roomate has an 89 Saleen with a Built motor and Vortech S-trim pushing 500+ and I wheelied all over his *** as he drilled it.............it was NO RACE at all I would put slips up against and street driven car ANY.......

 

Dumb ***.. who thinks their car can do a roll on a liter bike... really the must have no I dea about power to weight ratios...
