Im getting ready to pick up my new 02 CBR954 and was wondering about insurance and who to go through progressive wanted like 4900 for a year im 22 and thats way too much.

I need insurance and was wondering about joining the club cause im new to all this i used to race civics not the everyday gay civics either mine was totally built.

Can anyone help me out

you mean you didnt price insurance before you bought your new bike???? if this insurance deal doesnt work out your best bet would be state farm...but you have to insure a car with them also....

civics huh??? there is a guy at my work that races them.....his name is s.w. guth not sure if you know hum or not???

as far as pipes go i havent heard too many pipes on the 954 yet... i have a yoshimura and love it

 

Hey DSR guys, what are the chances of this actually happening? Pretty good or slim-to-none? Just checking cuz I'm gonna need to insure my bike within the next couple of weeks.

What's the status right now? Anything I can do to help?

It might help if you list the people who are 'in'.. for example, I'm not sure if you're including myself in your tally.

If not, add me to the list. I'll try and scrounge for people but being new to motorcycling I don't know many..

Just a thought, but even if we only got a group of 15-20, would we still be able to get considerably cheap rates?

I'm insuring the bike independently of my car, so State Farm wants about $930/year for full coverage on my 98 F3. No tickets, no accidents.. but if I insure the car it's like $600 + $1200 for the year to insure both.

Anyway, I'm still down even if the price goes up.
