That ain't ****, the government has being doing this since the start of this country. There was mass amounts of land owned and resided by Native Americans that were just taken. Communities and families were up-rooted from land that they settled and worked to produce food, live stock and materials for their lively hood. Just another strong arm move from our so called "Democratic" government.

 

Not like this they haven't Previously, as we all should know, the gov't could buy you out if they needed the land for "eminant domain" You know, the construction of new highways, etc. Things that the city or state NEEDED to do.

This however, is an entirely different ballgame, and I am stunned. It allows the gov't to buy you out on behalf of private companies for commercial development.

 

Believe it or not, yes just like this! The difference is the area and finacial bracket of the residents. The use the term "blighted" as an excuse to do it in other area's. They just did a play on words to change in the favor of business over the commaner.
