Rider killed (GSX-750)

Police: Motorcyclist Ejected, Killed In Crash
Investigators Believe Operator Lost Control

POSTED: 11:07 am EDT April 11, 2005

Police believe speed may be a factor after a 23-year-old Rochester Hills man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday evening.

Joshua Broadhead was traveling west on South Boulevard, west of Livernois Road, at about 6:11 p.m. when he lost control of his 1996 Suzuki GSX-R750, police said. He was ejected from the motorcycle, hit a mailbox and landed north of the roadway, according to police.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by a crash reconstruction unit.

Anyone who witnessed the crash should contact police.
