Ok.. So im putting my new mods on the 1000 today.. and realize my software for my camera is no longer on my computer and my CD Rom is cracked.

I tried finding it on the net and coudlnt.. Apparently I have to contact sony and wait a couple of weeks for the disc...

Does any one here know where I can download the software for the Sony Cybershot 5.0 Model DSC-V1??? The software I have on the broken disc is Image Mixer 1.5 by Pixela.. and they wont let you pull this off of their site...

Any ideas anyone??

Shitty work laptop.. Its only 2000...

 

i just got a new cam and it came with photo impression...works for two old cameras i have but i dont know that much it may work it may not

 

does 2k see the camera ? if it doesnt see if there is a option on how the card is rear - ie camera or HD, set it for HD if its not

 

I probably have a few of these discs hanging around..let me check.

 

The only sign I get that it recognizes it is when I unplug it or turn it off, then an error message comes up saying I did not properly turn off a device before I unplugged it... I dont know where to adjust the option settings you were talking about...

 

HWEN U PLUG IT IN and turn it on, goto your file manager and see if there is a new drive

 

If your talking task manager then I dont see anything come up for it...

 

NO FILE MANAGER - wher all your drives are (c: d: ect)

 

He means My Computer. Hey, I found a Pixela disc, but it's 1.0. Not sure if that matters to ya or not.

Wooo Wooo.. It worked once I looked under "MY computer" and then under removable disk "E"... Like you said, from there it lets me read directly off of the memory stick and then use photo editor to view the pics...
