Winter project starting

Hey guys,

Startin my winter project and I'm looking for a reputable painter for my '03 Busa. Nothing too outrageous (I want to keep things a little less conspicuous). I am interested in keeping the same basic graphic pattern (gray/silver), but maybe go a little darker gray and change the silver to a pear/opal/cameleon/hologram/chrome..etc...

any suggestions?

Also...anyone know of a Busa running an full ARATA Ti exhaust system? My buddy from Fowlerville runs a sweet '04 GSXR750 with one and it's absolutely beautiful with the best sound I've heard yet (better than a Yoshi or Akrapovic).

Hope to ride with some of you in the spring!

Lou_Brakant is an excellent painter...reasonable prices, and flawless work. I'm sure some guys on this board can post pics of his work. If you need any mechanical work done, I can help you out there. Working at a dealership, I know 'Busas pretty well. I'm getting laid off for the winter soon, so I'll be taking on side work. Damn....the word work was in that paragraph way too often.

Re: Winter project starting

current plans are install ARATA Ti full system, PCIII, TRE plug and new air filter. Hopefully over the winter I want to look into possible cam upgrade and clutch replacement. Following year should see a turbo added, along with major bottom end work. I would like to go out to Maxton and run this baby, so suspension mods will probably be in order as well $$$$$$$$
