How did you hear about us
New guy
Searching the web, found SBN and DSR. I've been lurking since Novemberish.
New sport bike rider, looking for others in the area to ride with.
OK, a 919 might not be a true sport bike, but my other bike is a '78 GoldWing. Trust me, the 919 IS a sport bike comparatively!!

Honda 919
Yes, its VERY comfortable!
First problem I had with it was getting used to the throttle response. Its very sensitive due to the fuel injection system. Now my only problem is keeping the front tire on the ground! What a great bike!
Its got the 900RR engine in it, and its been retuned for more mid-range torgue vs the higher rpm horse power of the 900RR. Around town (stoplight to stoplight) its hard to beat. Over 100mph my buddy's worked on GSXR750 starts to walk away from me due to the higher HP and RPM.
I'm told that it doesn't have what it takes for track racing. The swing arm and frame isn't stiff enough for really getting out of the turns hard. I'm not an experienced enough "fast" rider to notice though. In a straight line is where it shines!
Basically it was an off the shelf bike for Honda. So far, everything I've read is that it's bulletproof, standard Honda quality.

Back in the day I met these two dewds at McMobile on Gratiot named Ronnie and Mike. They told me about this club Detroit Street Ryders and I went to their website and signed the guestbook (remember that drama) LOL
Then I was cruisin the web and came up on the L00s Can0nz message board (On SBN) and talked to Shuggs and Crazy J... From there Fred got DSR a forum and we all pretty much kept in touch and here we are at stuntlife thanx to shugga pimp!

seriously it is not bad, dont diss it till you try it! I was reading about DSR in a rest area off of I-275. It said something like..."call 1-586-405-5505 for the best Beegeer's in Detroit"...so I gave it a call!
I found out about DSR from two good friends of mine. I guess they road with little Mac.
