Not saying you are right.... but I am looking through the service manual and can't find any info to back me up... I am pretty sure by talking to some of the other guys that it enriches the fuel by sensing the throttle is held open through the tps...

 

So basically what I am getting at is... I do believe you are right... would like to take a look at the side of the throttle bodies to say forsure though!! I will now bow down to you and I will give you my 04 fixxer in trade for the P.O.S. kawi and a 6 pack!!!
