my accident in maine
THERE IS A RUMOR GOING AROUND THAT I FLIPPED MY TRUCK WHILE DRINKING AND DRIVING
JUST TO CLEAR THINGS UP
yes i flipped my truck in maine aug 23 at 7:30 in the morning i was not drinking i fell asleep. here is the story
IM GOING TO TRY AND MAKE THIS SHORT.
thursday afternoon roger and i were supposed to hed up to maine i had a wedding to go to and we were hopping to ride with the vertical boys and roger was picking up his truck from his dads and dropping off his rental car (grocery getter) roger ended up leaving before me to ge a hed start because his family is 3 hours north of mine he ended up breaking down in coneticutt
so i went to go and get him and tow his car to his dads ended up being a twelve hour trip and we didn't get to his dad till early morning(no sleep) we decide to go fishing the to dinner with out taking a nap then went to bangor that nite out drinking at some clubs on the way back i decide its 3:00 am to get a hed start to go to my hotel near my family (3hrs south) (remind you still no sleep) and i get on the maine turnpike and start to doze off so i stopped and took a two hour nap on the side of the road then i get back on the road still felt sleepy so i stopped and got some red bulls and then i later down the road i dozed off again and woke up to hitting a guard rail and sliding off the road into a ditch and my truck flipped one and a half times and my bike was in the back of the truck both are totalled and i actually walked away with minor cuts and bruises and my knee is messed up again butt THE GOOD PART IS MY TRUCK I DIDN'T WANT ANYMORE AND THE INSURANCE GAVE ME MORE THAN I PAID FOR THE BIKE (9,200) AND IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN WORTH THREE BEFORE THE ACCIDENT AND THEY MIGHT BE PAYING FOR MY KNEE surgery
