Sooooooooooooooooo, cigs are $3.89 now SUCKS A$$!!!!!!!!

I say everyone should quit smoking for a while, then maybe the Phillip Morris will start to crash sooo bad that they deciede to lower the cost to the retailers so that I can afford to smoke again...

Or maybe not. I'm having a hell of a time cutting back right now as it is. Anyone else trying to quit now. Everyone I know who smokes says they're gunna quit.

I would love to be able to quit, can't or won't ...blame it on the stress(lol)...they are between $4.80 and $6.00 up here, when i lived in TN they were only like $2.50....oh i miss those days!!! haha

 

I had a few coupons for $1.75 off, and I only have one left!!! Plus my boyfriend takes all my smokes to work, then shares them with my cousin (they work together)!!! Now I only have one smoke left for the rest of the night. I wanna die

I guess I should be happy I'm in MN then, HUH? But I am still un-employed untill Monday (FINALLY!) so maybe in 2 weeks i'll be better

 

i'm just glad they banned smoking at the bars. it's hard to have sympathy when i absolutly hate the smoke and smell....

Quitting was pretty easy for me. I quit about a year ago. My g/f dosent smoke so I think that helped. Plus I usaed to smoke a lot in the car, so I took the bike more. I also used the patch for a couple weeks. Good luck to all of you that want to quit!

 

hahah Most people I've known, who said they'd quit, end up getting back on after a few months=P. I don't smoke myself. not even once in my life.. lol. But cigs here, cost $4.50 and up! High prices, is because cigs are hella taxed.. Govt. figures, if we tax the prices up, and make cig prices sky high, then people won't smoke as much and be more healthy people and at the same time, make more money for us! Lol.. I guess their plan is working=P

I'm gonna quit. I don't know where you shop, but damn, that's still cheaper then mine. I pay $4.55 a pack now. Screw that. My plan was this Sunday I'd quit, becuase we had a big weekend of partying planned, but now that has been put on hold, due to death in Family. So we'll see how next weekend goes with being at the bar drinking and not smokin. GONNA BE HARD AS HELL , but I'll save money. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!

I quit 8.5 yrs ago and have never wanted to do it again. But thats just me.
