Re: Preparing for 2005

June is already packed bro, if we can swing it we'll do it. I was talking to Pfleps and I think we'll downsize the advertising and upsize the rest so we can have at least a small comp. (if there is such a thing?)

I wasn't able to come through last year, but this next year is a different story. What do ya say?

Re: Preparing for 2005

No dates yet, might be a little harder cause I won't be working at Hitching Post as of Dec. 17th. I'm sure we can think of something

Re: Preparing for 2005

Oh def.

I'm thinking even of a full blown comp if we can get enough teams interested and enough sponsors interested. Finding a place to hold it would be the easy part after all that is done

Gotta start soon though........

Re: Preparing for 2005

I've heard of a drag strip called The Grove Creek and they might let something like that happen. I'll find the site and post it.

Do you want more info........

The guy who owns it is named Rick. We did a bunch of shows for him a couple of years ago in trade for use of the track ( which is beat to ****) at the end of the season. After we did all of our shows (@7) and helped pack his stands, he tells us he needs $3000 + insurance for use of the track........but hey I can give you his number if you would like to call him though, a real stand up guy

PM me

What about Lakeland?

I think draggers are only worry about the first 50 ft cause when your going 200mph a little rock hole doesn't bother them.
