Seeing how our Fearless Leader of Stuntbike Riding of Maine VerticalJay has requested for us not to talk as much trash on this forum. I gracefully request for a **** talking to take place on the Maine forum as not to impose any threat of some "Big Wig" not willing to give our Few, The Proud, The Vertical Outlaws some money to help pay for the plastic they smash and the tires they dissinagrate. Is there hope? I just bought a house in Maine in fall and thought there was no hope for stunters in Maine. Went to the "local" dealership to get some 50 parts and he looked at me like i was ****ing crazy for riding a 50. I asked him if there were any stunters up in this area being Presque Isle, I'm in Oxbow, and he said not really and that about all they really do up here is stoppies, which he didn't even know the name of. He also never even heard of an endo. So at this time I lost all hope to find some fellow riders. I don't stunt street bikes as I don't own one at the moment but I am a shitty 50 rider and a pretty decent quad stunter, although I am a lot better at FMX then stunting. Someone get back to me and let me know what the deal is up here.

 

Where did you go??? Harry's Motor Sports, Sled Shop?????? There are a quite a few street bikes up here and for the most part we don't do any major stunting. I got a friend who lives in Garfield which is about 10 or so minutes from you. I'm the only one up here that's on SL though. Also we don't get are parts through the dealerships cause it just changed hands * Harry's Motor Sports * and they are a bunch a dicks, plus we haven't broken anything major yet. PM me sometime this summer and maybe we can hook up for some mixure of street and off road ****. :YEAH

 

Ya I went to Harry's to get a new shift shaft for the 50 when I installed my manual clutch kit on it. That place is such a joke, I went in there looking for a stock jet for my fiances 400ex and they didn't have one on hand, and it took them a month to get me tubes for my xr. Do you guys have somewhere to stunt? As of right now I just stunt on my road dodging logger trucks. I thought the sand on the roads up here were messing up my 12 bar but I recently found out that the guy I had weld it did it uneven so now I am in the process of fixing that. Be nice to find somewhere to practice some no handers, my road has such a crown to it it's not even funny. Well get back to me, also do you have aim?

 

They don't have anything in stock up here, you have to order most everything that's why I don't go through them. I just get the parts I need online. There are a couple places up here that we use to stunt at but nothing close to where you live. This doesn't mean we can't hook up. There is a new place on Rt. 11 we want to use a lot this summer. Wait till you see the place is for stunting.

I was thinking of just raiding some parking lots in PI, like Wal-mart or something like out back where they service on the cars. Everyone around me is cool about it so I'm unsure about how the cops feel about it.

 

I live in PI and I've known the cops there for years and I've been a cop for 3 years now. I'm pretty sure PIPD wouldn't take to kindly to you stunting the fiddy at Wal-Mart. They might give you a warning the first time but after that you'd probably see some paperwork.

You'll like the spot on Rt. 11 were gonna use this year the place is pimp.

 

Do you ride just street or dirt as well? Here's a shot of my ramp I built last yr. It's not set up for that gap I just through it there when I moved in. I plan to have a bunch of jumps on my land this summer that range from about 20ft-50ft.

 

I haven't rode dirt for about 10 years, I've been on the street for the past 6 well 7 years now.
