Pretty much all the riders live in the L/A area. There are no bikes in the bangor area, I can tell you that.

Sounds like you need to start ripping wheelies through town to promote street bike riding. Or just get a Harley I'm sure there are plenty of people to ride with on those up there.

Screw Harleys haha. Granted, they're nice bikes but way to over priced for the machine it is.

Besides, love my gsxr to much.

No, last season was my first season riding and I've gotten really comfortable but didn't dare attempt anything besides small wheelies powering out of first.

Read How-To's and whatnot but still have that fear. Eventually it'll happen but for now i'm having a good time enjoying the ride

What color scheme bike do you have? I'm always seeing if I can recognize someone on the street. That and I don't think there are a ton of newer gixers in town

It's White / Blue scheme, jardine moto gp pipe. You'll see it before you hear it. Are there any riding groups around town? I'd love to actually find people to ride with instead of cruising on my own.

There's a couple of groups around. I know one group hangs out at the cumberland farms on center st once in a while during weeknights. There's another group that usually tear up backroads but not sure where they meet. You can usually catch them at Club Tx thurs night.

Re: New to forums, old to maine

nice, only thing is i'm 18 so club Tx would kinda suck considering i'd show up and they'd be drinking. Know of anyone that does some backlot stunting? I'd like to go and watch some time, maybe try it out if they're willing to give some tips
