I was just bouncing and clutching it standing then sitting back down as I gave it throttle to get used to the 954 in 2nd gear since I've never done 2nd gear wheelies before. I have switched to standups though today, I'm getting them pretty consistently and high too.
I pulled a standup on County Line by Park Meadows and when i set it down and came to the stoplight there was a CHP motorcycle officer talking on his radio, thank god he wasn't looking in his mirrors.

Only in first gear. If you sit as far back on the seat as possible and slip the clutch 300rpm it seems like it'll loop if you give it full throttle for a second.

lol I meant 300rpm more. Nah I used to go to Thunder Ridge high school, never parked the 954 there only my old GSX-R600.

The wheelie was in between Santa Fe. and Broadway. He pulled into the apartments right after that bridge.

You know I hate guys like you all (the guys posting negative crap in this post). You forget where you were at one time, and just remember that however good you are, there's always somebody better better. Be supportive and give tips, don't just bash cause you think your better because you can scrape (big deal)
Just practice riding them standing up in 2nd gear, quit sitting down you'll like standups much better once you get used to it. Your 954 will bounce up in 6th if you like fast wheelies it's just all in the technique so just keep practicing.
Although my best advice is get a stunt bike, get into a parking lot, start practicing slow wheelies. Just get it ON THE SNAP. If you mess up, put it down and start again. It's much more safe than the highway
