I got an opportunity to move to winter park, CO. I can live tehre for really cheap but its a mile from a resort and I dont really snowboard or ski. Just wondering if anyone has any info about living there. All I know is its about 60miles northeast or northwest from denver. So any info?

 

IT is really cold there in the winter and the weather is not much warmer in the summer, if you want to keep on riding i would try to move to at least denver so in the summer you could ride more. JOEJOE

 

I agree with Joejoe, if you are not into winter sports it is not a very good area to live. The only riding you can do for 4 or 5 months is on a snowmobile. Come down out of the mountains and the situation totally changes for the better

 

I only plan on staying Nov- april or may......I live in Ohio right now so I won't really be missing out on any riding time. I mean for $150 a month and living a mile from a resort w/ vacationing snow bunnies it seems like a good deal since right now I have no job and am not going to school. Thanks for the replies. I'm still undecided. And if I do move and any of you guys ski or board let me know and you can come crash at our place and party and stay for free.

 

That sounds like a good deal. I am just saying if you want to get better at riding not the place for ya. I would definatley come up and snowboard with ya i aint nothing special but i can do some little ****, if you decide to come up here pm me your # we will def hang out!!
