I got my SI cage but I'm too lazy to put it on so I'm gonna keep running the FI. I rarely drop my bike though

haha yeah unfortunately I'm still at the stage where dropping the bike is a norm, but its crazy, I will barely let it down from stalling and it still rolls over to the clipons/upper

03-04 is definitely nice, I just wanted one because I love the look of it, but motor wise it idles the same and has the same engine brake of the 05-06, no joke I jumped on the bike and it didnt feel any different. I do think I'm keeping the clipons angled down though

Dude, tell me about it. It is an FI bar and they only make that one length. I called them and they said they dont make the short bar for it because nobody ever complains.

Ive been wanting to shorten it forever, but just never got around to it.

can't blame the cage on that. you didn't post the pre-pictures in the other thread about it. That was a highside....SI cage will still go up and smash those front plastics in a highside. With that kind of momentum there is no cage that will stop it from going up onto the nose. SOrry to tell ya

and FYI, it's never a good idea to take your foot off the peg with the brake first, that always spells disaster. Good thing your left foot didn't get ripped off in that 12 bar.

 

wow didnt realize that crash could have been worse, I did feel the bar kind of hit my foot but nothing serious!

 

also after lowering the ISO like Nags said, I've come to realize that the camera needs some filters that I've never gotten around to getting

 

High side like hell regularly.. never have had it roll up on me... sorry but a si with sliders is the only way to go... have to hit like handlebars first to **** the upper up on one of them...
