Maybe its the ligament that is causing the buldge? I tore the ligament in the last joint in my pinky finger a few years ago, and it caused a weird bump. Its caused because the ligament gets torn and then ***** up at the joint. If thats the case, the pain will go away, but it will look funny from now on
