I think I have a fan in the garage that you can have.
Seriously though, make sure you get all the air out of the system. Starting it and letting it run with the cap off and fill it up anytime the level drops. Do that until the bike is at normal operating temp.

Andy I need some oem heat pads for my 05 636. The ones that go in the tail for the exhaust, and the one that goes under the tank. On ronayers its part #39156-0080 for the tank pad, cant find the ones for the tail though. Let me know if you can get em and how much.

Leave The Temp Switch Hook Up Just Strip The Insulation Back Off Of The Wires And Hook Your Switch To The Wires That Way If You Forget To Turn The Fan On It Will Turn On At The Set Points....and When You Shut The Bike Off It Will Stay On UNTIL The Switch OPENS.

mine runs about 212 in the lot without ever overheating. i think your fan is **** 
yeah its still overheating when i plug the fan into the temp sensor thing.
i have a little smaller kawi fan rigged up to the stock fan bracket and i just dont think its keeping it cool enough. and i have it on all the time. i ran with my gauges yesterday and it seemed like all day it was running around 215-225.....that doesnt seem right to me. i need to get a stock fan and see what it does.

My bike runs a lot cooler since I switched to the 05 radiator. Im gonna have to do a little modifying when I go full fairing though, since the radiator is taller.

I just read this on kyle woods site. I never heard that you shouldnt run dot 5
Dot 4 is the BEST brake fluid to use on your motorcycle. When buying DOT 4 look for the highest boiling point possible. NEVER EVER EVER use Dot 5 because this is a completely different type of fluid. Dot 5 is a silicone based fluid, that if not maintained properly the silicone can harden into a gel and completely clog your entire brake system.

we did that to the bike the first time it was running since the rebuild. let it run for a long time and kept filling it up. how can i get that fan you have
