ok serious question here...


my bar is about 5-6 inches long, and it already had 2 holes drilled in it...the bottom black hole is the hole that lines up with a hole already in my subframe so I can bolt that one up no problem....my problem is that the first hole(top black one) cant get bolted up.....but if i drill another hole(red circle), will I be ok, or is that too close to the edge of the bar

I'm wanting to get this thing mounted up by today so I can ride tommorow, help me out

 

how far off is the top black hole?

 

it should be okay

 

way off, the only way it will bolt up is if I slide the bar down, but then the bottom black hole wont line up, and I wont be able to put my foot in the bar


so pretty much, I only have 2 options, drill a new hole...or wait till monday and get the shop to weld new longer bars.

 

ok cool, lol I dont know jack about it, but the bar is pretty thick so yeah it should hold up I guess. Gotta go buy some locking pliers to hold the bar while I drill a new hole in....gotta get some washers too!

 

drill it!! 12 bars are cheap anyways

i'm ready, tail is fiberglassed, fixing to go buy some tools I need to mount up the bar, and I'm gonna try and do the wood mod too....

 

its gonna be cold tommorow, we better get out early

I dont think the bar will fit

 

just ride without the bar.I did that on your old F4I for awhile and had to get the back seat recovered and I blew the tail section out
