Andy has an unfair advantage, and he is still slackin. He gets an extra hour because of the time change.

Andy Im coming to Columbus on November 19th for work, but I will be done around 2-3. If you dont have anything goin on that day, Ill probably bring the bike and ride for a while that night.

His clutch is all messed up i guess. He changed fibers and its still not right.

 

well that's no reason to not come, tell him to fix it, there is plenty of time. I changed the clutch plates on my F4i in one afternoon

He is trying to get it fixed. He said that the clutch is wicked hard to pull too. Like the easy pull takes 3 fingers.

 

they probably set the clutch plate springs too tight

I don't know about kawi's but my honda's you set the spring pressure by torquing the springs down to 7 ft/lbs (which is very small)

 

if you over tighten them it will be very difficult to disengage the clutch

 

yea kawis are 78 in lbs which is 6.5 ft lbs, so thats not much at all. I will give him a call

 

If he doesn't get it fixed tell him to bring it down anyways and bring all the old parts too.. we will get it going fri or sat for him... It was easy to pull before should still be easyit's not aftermarket springs like he thought!

Oh and I vote we take away Beaus 1st post.. he did bitch out last night.. missed me doing hc circles... too bad cause i've decided they are too dangerous and will never do them again!haha
