well theres a local Honda dealer here and they had a 09 1000rr, and I must say, it actually looks pretty nice in person. Dunno why they look so crappy in the pics online. The bikes starting to grow on me and I think this is what I'm picking up when I get back home. Southern honda always has the best prices so thats where I'm going to pick mine up, along with my sisters new honda scooter. Gonna see if they'll cut me an even better deal!

u punkyeah he was kinda scared to ride it at first, I guess since its taller than him. He was just put putting around. After I flew home for the weekend and taught him how to work the clutch again and how to take off, he started ripping it up on the grass. He's loving it now, my sister says hes always telling her to take him to the gas station so it sounds like hes putting in work
he's gonna be killing it in no time. with the tire its super fun in the grass

I hope so, he can only barely pop it up right now, so I told him to just keep riding like normal until I get back, then we'll work on his wheelies. Talked to him yesterday and he says he can do donuts without using the front brakes, I'm so proud lol

cheapest 08 I found was at Southern Honda, an 08 for 7599 and some 09's for 7999. I'll take whatever as long as the price is that good. Hoping for a white one, but black or red will do also!

just check for hidden charges before u buy cause thats how alot of the dealers are...

you know what, scratch that, I must have misread their site, or they must have had a glitch yesterday on their pricing. Today its 7983 for the 08's, and 10,983 for the 09's. Thats out the door, plus $99 dealer fee.

Most dealers charge a Doc fee (thats what the $99 sounds like) a transportation and dealer set up fee (Building it out of the crate) If they arent charging this, at this price, i have no clue how theyre paying the guys in the shop that build it... Good news is the only thing u would pay tax on is the actual cost of the bike not the fees... and never once in any type of sales have i seen an out the door price advertised

I just looked at the ad and I see what your saying, but i wouldnt be surprised when they throw in a set up and transportation fee... Im curious now i wanna call em.... and they probably only have like 1 or maye 2 so if you call em they could probably hold it for you for $500 to $1000 like credit card over the phone... most places do

Jerry was wanting to get out and ride one time before I move. It will have to be the 13th or before. The 14th they are coming to load the bike up and it has to be all drained of fluids.
