Haven't really read this thread in a while, and have no idea what I'm interrupting, but I just rode an 02 GSXR 600 the other day, and tried to do stunts on it...since I was told to take it easy and go slow...well, not because I was told that, just to see what it was like. Anyways, it was so much easier to bring up than my ZX7R was. No wonder it takes you guys no time to get good at stunts. These new bikes almost do it for you.
Ok, ok, I'm getting carried away. Plus, it's harder to keep the lighter bikes stable at lower speeds. I could ride to a newr stop with no hands without worries on the 7R, but when the Gixxer starts getting under 10 mph it starts weaving.
Anyways, I wish I didn't part my bike out, but it's too late now. I'll be moving to San Anotonio shortly, and I'll be a poor college student, so I guess it's good bye to motorcycles until 2009.

 

Speaking of parting out frames...I've got a salvage title 1998 ZX7R frame. ...too bad no one rides them anymore.
Seriously though, I've got straight forks, a swingarm with a ding in it, a 525 chain, almost new sprocket, bent front rim, front calipers, and both front rotors as well as both clutch and brake levers. And a vortex clip on that's not bent If you know anyone that needs them...I'm almost always around.
I might add that the clutch lever is shaved down, a lot like on Jeremy's Gixxer last time I saw it.
