Some 17"'s? 240mm discs?

 

sup people? Has anyone in here had there cage rip all the threads out of there motor mount? The bike has landed on the left side but the right side popped out this time? So now i'm retapping the right side as i did the left the first time i lost the bike. What can i do to stop ripping out the thread? ( besides stop dropping it or riding it?) lol.

put a tiedown around the frame and cage.

 

THE PROBLEM IS THE BOLTS STRIP THE THREADS OUT OF THE FRAME/MOTOR SO RE-TAPPING IT IS POINTLESS. YOU HAVE TO PUT IN A HELI-COIL OR A TIME-SERT. DAVID, STAY OFF THE PIPE..... A TIE DOWN?

 

guess its them northern lights.

if its an FI cage, try a more new guy friendly cage like the 905.. they are gonna hold up to drops a little better a little longer than the fi cage.

LB, why are you missing the mounting bolts for the right rear on the cage?

 

Ive Had The Same Cage Since Day One. Trade In The Jumping Off The Back Technique For Using The Brake And Youll Be Fine.
