Hey mikie when your bored at work can you look up this parts number for me 4vx00 and tell me what year of bike its from its the tripples on the r1 i picked up and somethin isnt right i think they put the wrong year back on it after it got crashed can you do that for me mang

 

maybe they were put on backwards if they have an offset.

Podunk - Do you have any idea what model the upper tripple is from? I can give you a list of all the R1's. Maybe something will contain those numbers.

No thats what im tryin to figure out the bike is a 99 but its gotta have the wrong front end on it maybe there some kind of aftermarket? thats why those numbers are dif?

Carbed = 99-01
FI = 02 on up

The offset on the tripples changes from year to year. If you force the top tripples w/ the wrong bottoms you'll **** everything up and die.
