I Got My Motor Apart, All I Need Is Four Pistons And Four Ring Sets, All Crank Bearings, All Rod Bearings, New Rod Nuts And Bolts, Pressure Relief Valve And Head Gasket. #563.30. My Frame Is At Mac's Getting All Mounting Points Reinforced And When My Parts Come In I Am Having All My Pistons Ceremic Coated. Hopefully It Will Last At Least A Year.??

actually,i hate my bike.it's on the 4th engine right now.im looking for an f4i for my next piece.

 

other than the engine trouble....whats wrong with it ....why do you hate it

 

DAVID ALREADY ROCKED THAT SH#T, INTO THE GROUND. DAVID IS OFF THE HOOK, BUT WATCH, WHEN HE GETS A NEW BIKE HIS SKILLS WILL GET EVEN BETTER, FASTER. THE YZF IS UNDERPOWERED, OVERWEIGHT, AND AND NOT VERY AGILE. I AGREE THOUGH, IF ALL I HAD WAS EX 250 I'D BE OUT THERE ON IT.

yeah i hear that it is very underpowered and a very FAT biotch...haveing the rear sprockett super sized almost seems like a must...i have had hell trying to get to BP and hold it there with mine...

rite now i am still waiting for a friend of mine to get off his *** and weld the brackets for my new sub frame on my bike so i can start practiceing again...haven't been on my bike since december

P.S.- A friend of mine is selling a 2001 f4i ($4,000) only 2,700 miles.

Yo, this is prolly a stupid question.. but Chris fell the other day, and when he started his bike up it was knocking. I was thinking CCT, but why would it go out all of a sudden. His clutch had some broken plates, fixed that. Still knocking. Could he have bent a rod? It soulds like Cylinder 4, right by the CCT. Can he replace the rod from an old motor or is that pointless?

If this motor goes, thats 3! And Davids is knocking too.. thats 3 for him too. I swear, Yamahas suck.. Chris has like 5 or 6 motors sitting in his garage from the YZF and R6!

 

if the **** spins a bearing it is garbage. no ifs ands or buts. Yeah you can fix it but to do it right where it wont blow up again in a couple weeks it will cost as much as a new motor. The only reason ryan was able to rebuild his **** was because he didnt actually blow the 929 motor up. He just wore that mother****er out! heh.

Ryan, who has blown up an f4i? I really havent heard of anyone blowing em up.. Freddy, is your **** rod knockin or somethin? And what did the harness have to do with that thing blowing up? Running lean and getting too hot?
