Attention Dallas Riders. Bullshit In Progress!!!
I just received this PM here on stuntlife from some guy claming to be with the local news media. DO NOT talk to this guy. It's probably in response to those two kids dying. If you talk to this guy, he's about 99.999% sure to slant the story and make us all look like assclowns and start a crackdown with the cops, stir up "do-gooders" etc... Ignore this guy..

I'm not going to slant any story. I am going to report a story about what stunt motorcyclists do and why. There will also be an element of what police think of it.
If stunt riders don't talk, the police will have no problem saying whatever they want, which most likely won't be an accurate perspective of what is going on.
If I can get some riders, I can write a balance story about what's going on. You just have to give me a chance. I'm also not claiming to be with the media. I am a reporter for The Dallas Morning News. Go google my name or call my office line.

Honestly, do you have any idea how many times stunters across the country have heard that "let me do a balanced story/give me a chance" stuff? There are a quite a few people on this site that could probably go on all day about riders that are safe that only ride on private property, riders that discourage irresponsible riding and mentor the younger cats, riders that do fund-raiser shows for charity, etc. But you guys will only publish the dramatic bullshit lines that make us look bad. Everytime.
Plus, you come on asking to talk to stunters right after two kids die on the streets that were allegedly riding in a group of other riders who were stunting? Come on man.. give me a break... You're looking for ammo. You're looking for a sucker that will paint us all into a corner.

wasnt really that balanced the way bike nights and stunt shows were tied in with those two kids going out and killing themselves.
