So I have redesigned triplex's site once again. This is like the 3rd time in 3 months. What do you all think? Be honest.

I think I through it together to fast (did Saturday afternoon while it was raining like a **** here) and there are still some graphics I need to work on. I'm not sure if I like the middle background grey image on all the pages...I still think it sucks..but im gonna work on it...

i jjust checked it .... i think it looks good ....shouldnt be so critical on your own work ...haha im one to talk ..i do the same with my videos

 

It looks good, I personally liked the last version, but this one is cool too.

 

yeah I really like the last version. Its still there just need to redirect to it so if I want i can just flip a switch and have the old version back. Something about the old version I really liked. Me and Brock were talking the other nite and thought a change would be cool. I'll let this one run for a bit and see the kind of responses I get.:D

i liked kyle with the gun in the old one ha ha ha what ever happened to that anyway. and i think you need to add more videos

yeah well with corporate sponsorship and what not, guns and the whole gansta image on the site had to be changed.

On the video side...I'm working on it. The new trailer to x's new video should be up there soon enough..its pretty insane!

From an artist & fellow stunter's point of view.....

- The top navigation bar is sweet!! Very legible... very neat... very organized. Keep that.

- The urban typeface used wouldn't be my first choice, especially where the Triple X logo type is so firm and rugged.... the urban look doesn't coincide with ruggedness. (tough to explain but each typeface portrays a particular look or image and the two don't seem to match... for me anyway).

- What happened to Joe?

- The front page should be like BAMM!!! You should type in www.triplextreme.net and know right away what the website pertains to. Add some pics of Stunts dude!!! Look at our website www.drivingtoendanger.com You log on and there is no guessing what we do.

I Hope I could help. I know how hard it is to take constructive criticism (hess I am an artist and receive it all the time). Good Luck... have fun w/ it. I really like the direction you're taking it. It's nice and clean. You know what they say.... KISS it!! (Keep It Simple Stupid).

Two things I saw: 1.) What happened to Joe? 2.) On Brock's bio page it says "You will usually see him doing leg spreders that go from one equator to the other..." There's only one equator bro.

Overall though, I think you did a great job.

So heres the deal. Yeah the site is ok. I know there is so much more that it could be...The problem is that I have absolutley ZERO free time. So when I first took over this project several months ago I was told to get a new site up as quick as possible so thats why it was done so shitty..hehe. I work 5 days a week as a web programmer so you can imagine the last thing I wanna do when I get home is program. But I do it cause the boyz are friends of mine. Bri, I hear you on the BAMM factor. I'm working on that. Its like when you get to xxx's site you have no idea what it is about until you click like pictures and what not. I have been wanting to fix this just I have been so busy lately. I actually love critism I critise myself all the time. I take it very well and take it as a learning expierence. You have shed some light on things that I know I need to get done just haven't had the time. One other thing is I also make this site the way XXX wants it. I am not in XXX so I put some of my flavor on it but in the end its there site not mine. But I'm working on some BUHH BAMM front pages to get the attention of people, i know thats one of the things its lacking real bad. KISS is the key to any sucessfull website so I try my hardest to keep that way. Like the big thing is programming your site for 800X600.

One thing bri..when you go to your site in 800X600 people can not see the last few things on your left nav which i think is contact and merchandise....remember that almost 90% of people browse the web in 800X600 screen resolution so you gotta program for those people. It looks like you might have programmed your site using a higher resolution. I always program at a higher resolution then when I'm ready to go live with a site i switch my resolution down to 800X600 to make sure that the site is compatible with it.

By the way...DTE's site rocks...many a nites in the early on me kyle and brock talked about how clean and effective it was.

As far as equators go, you gotta talk to brock about that...LOL I copy and pasted what he wanted on there....Good catch though...LOL

I can't comment on the rest of the questions...I defer those questions to kyle and brock........

I checked the DTE website out on 800 x 600 and everything is totally visible...maybe your using 640 x 480??? If that's the case, it's the 2000's dude, upgrade your ****..lol...just playin.

Im on XP jerky .. and checked it out on 5 machines here at work varying browsers and os's all using 800X600. The left frame that has the buttons the last 2 buttons are not visable and the frame has scrolling turned off so you cant scroll....I thought that maybe it was my PC.

 

Just checked on Ricks machine on 800 x 600 and you couldn't see the contact us button...lol...no need for that...lol...just kiddin...yea, I programmed it with 1024 x 768 in mind...ahh well, if peeps can't see it...upgrade your ****...it'd be worth it...lol...

nice......i love the new pbr design..i personally think in the next year or two most people with be surfing the web at 1024. at surf at 1152. But ohh well...just thought I'd let you know about it..
