how fast you goin when you pop it up in second, or whats the slowest you can be going doing tricks on the tank in secondwhen you clutch it.Is'nt 1st gear snappy as hell with it geared like that or does it just make it easier because it comes up at a lower speed. im just askin so i can kinda visualize it before i do it
thanks for your help.

yup he's serious!!!! its so i 'll be able to ride a slower wheelie esier. it will allow me to start my wheelies in a higher gear so it wont be as snappyas say 1st gear but ill be able to still go slow because of that gearing ratio. (I THINK???)

I just went to 2 down 2 up this weekend. I haven't got to ride it that much yet to know if I like it better than the 1 down 2 up I had before. It comes up so easy in first now, but it's a lot touchier. I just want to learn 12's damn it!

Well...I have 1 down and 2 up and it lifts very easily...but if it can lift more which will help me with my 12'ves I'm all for it . But damn...2 down 5 up seems like alot . Is that actually what some people use for gearing ? I hear that its better to put more in the back than in front...for the bike that is . Is this true ?

yes

i am 2 down 5 up on a zx6r matt 1096 is 2 down 10 up on a rr chauncy dte is 2 down 7 up brock is 2 down 5 up and kyle well u know he has a big sprocket but we do not ride on the streets with this gearing this is what our stunt bikes have for gearing it alows all your tricks to be higher and slower because there is more engine brake to bring the bike down if you are going to loop it all of our stunts are done in 1st gear unless its a long wheelie or aproach for a long *** stoppie i recomend 2 down 2 up for the street so try it out and get back to us

gix 750 is my stunt piece right now. i'm 3 down in front, 5 up in rear right now and can pick up tank wheelies in second gear from about 15mph (riding em at about 25). this gearing is good but i think i'm gonna go to 2 down up front. Seems like 2down and 5up is about where everyone's at.

what so funny? My gears are stock for real.

Ask PBR!

I seriously want to know what gears to get. Gorka was telling me, go up 10 in the rear, down 2 in front. Im thinking about just going up 10 and see how that works. Then start going down in front.

Dan we all know you are 3 down and 27 up...LOL

Yes, Dan is stock geared!!!!!!!

As far as gearing on the 954? Who knows, you are the only one I know that has a brand new stunt bike... you need to let me know how you do that....

I would go 2 down 10 up like Gorka said, its a Honda... it cant be that much different then the 900....

When i changed mine out to 1 down 9 up it felt a little weird for at first, but after a couple of days i loved it....

Do you guy's think that 1 down , 4 up is too much for a Gsx-R 750 '01 for street riding ? Or should I go 2 down , 3 up ? Yes I do stunt but I also ride my bike aswell si I don't want to go agressive like you guy's with the gearing . But I still want to do dem slow *** wheelies .

I need to find some one who can do the slow walk wheelie with a gixxer 1000 and can explain how they kept the power from killin em my bike with 2dwn and 5up is jumpy and pretty unmanagable
Talk to Digidy from PBR. He can ride circle wheelies on a 1000
