A funny little story
So last friday before I went up north I stopped in to a gas station to pick up some ice for the cooler. There was a kid there on a Gixxer 6 I didn't reckognize him but as I was walking into the store he yelled my name so I walked over there. I still had no idea who the kid was. So I walk up to him and I asked him when he got a bike.
"Oh it's not my bike it's my buddies"
Your buddy lets you ride his bike" I said.
"Yeah as long as I put gas in it."
it was then that I noticed he was putting 87oct into the bike, When asked why the ***** he would be doing that, he said his buddy didn't care.
I then gave the bike a closer look. The bike was beat all to hell. The entire right side was scraped and broke. There was no Rear Break Lever, the right peg was just a chunk of metal bolted/welded on. and there was only half a front break lever!
the kid then tells me that he is going to be getting himself a bike comming up this summer. He's looking into getting a Gixxer 1000.
I told him that those are a powerful bike, and the sixes nowadays aren't any jokes. Especially for a new rider.
To which he replies
"I'm not a new rider, I've been riding this thing for about 3 weeks now."
After mocking him briefly he took off like a real pro... NOT
All I can say is I hope to God this kid doesn't get a bike anytime soon.
