Dunno if you guys like MotoGP but I just got the dvd "Faster" and it's probably the best damn MotoGP documentary I have seen. Kinda goes through the racers the bikes, the season etc.. awesome.

Really makes you respect the guys who throttle those 2-stroke 500cc beasts.

If you guys would like to "borrow" a copy let me know. It really is pretty darn cool and a different perspective on the MotoGP scene. Specially how sparse its covered over here. Rossi is the MAN!

There was an outstanding article on the early bikes about 6 months ago in Fuell magazine - I should scan it in. Just like the current ones, the early bikes were only 5-speeds, which gives you an idea of the gearing they had and the power the 2-strokes were putting out to turn them.
