I have been toying with the idea for sticker (vynil) cutter for some time now and I think I might go ahead and buy one. That means I can print the stickers if you guys want.. and I will see what the price of vynil is and how much I can do the stickers for.. I know it be cheaper then 18 bucks for sure.

 

Well the others will be in today so haha, You should speak up sooner. Now if you get a cutter I have some cool azz aticker ideas. Hell I would be your number one custmer that is if the deals are good.

Oh and Dan, what does it take to manufacture those plate mounts and your throttle lock? any machining have to be done or anything like that?

 

Yep, machining on both. I have CAD prints on both if you'd like them. If you get rich.......just remember to take me to Red Lobster or something. Sticker idea sounds good. Also, Tony.......have you checked the price of those cutters. I think they are verrrrrrrrry expensive. I looked into it once and was shocked at the price. That would be awesome if you did get one, I'd be over everyday using it.

 

Reason I ask is one of my dad's buddies owns a machine shop, and I could get him to machine the needed parts for next to nothing... then whatever assembly is required would have to be done by you or whoever... but I would make a special section on my website to sell them...

 

Yea there not cheap.. but I always been the graphics stuff with Illustrator, Corel and Photoshop etc.. and always thought about getting one to do some vynil stickers.. I am doing some reasearch on it now.. maybe pick one up. If I do I do our stuff for cost of vynil and any other ones you guys might want. Maybe do some stuff on the side for other groups etc...

Corel.........holly cow, are they still around. I was so impressed with thier software 11 years ago I bought a bunch of thier stock. Sold it for some profit after a few years and about a year later the company seemed to tank. Are they still producing good ****?

 

Yep.. they still have their following of loyal people that swear by their stuff. I think they are on version 12 or so.. they doing well enough to have the Corel Center ... I think that is where Ottawa Senators play in .. very nice stadium... so I guess they not doing too bad.

 

They were like other companys that use there name on a stadium. It was about the time they did that the company started to decline. Actually what happend, I believe they started buying a bunch of other companys that didn' quite pan out like they expected.
