Re: 11yrs and Finally getting the car done...
Thats fuggin sik dude!!! I had a 65 GT (avatar) but came into some money problems and had to sell it. Now Im rollin in a **** bag 93 5.0. I miss my car. I see it was a T-code (I6). You drop a v8 in it?
Re: 11yrs and Finally getting the car done...
yea, it is now a 289..it was pretty easy swap, I found a 65 coupe that sheetmetal was cut up to restore and then the car was left to rust with its fresh engine, so I swapped the drivetrain in to the 66.. and all new v8 steering/ suspension, proper fuel line, ect. so now aside from the vin, you can no longer tell it was a sixxer...

Cool. Im gonna try and get another classic hopefully by the end of this year. I want either a 67 coupe or vert though. Im WAY too big for the 65/66. My friend built a 67 coupe w/ a turboed 347 stroker...
I'll post pics if you want...

bowties are quicker anyway
Too bad they break down every other day. LOL The only problems Fords have, is they have **** boxes for trannys.
