no chaps? O.K. no chaps. but I think the 4" sliders are a go -cyclemart $30.00 I bought a motorcycle tire changer today...can't wait to try it out, think I'm gonna take some extra precautions though so I dont scratch the rim. maybe put rubber or sumthin where it clamps the rim in place... not sure yet

Re: sliders...

yeah that's the one, need to do a test run very soon to see if I like it...problem is I don't need to mount a tire right now guess I can take it off and put back on just for sake of doin it. gonna have to buy a valve stem tool though if I do that.I didnt buy one cuz I figured if the tire I'm takin off is shot I'll just stab a hole in it to release that last bit of air no biggie I think they are like a buck.

Cool, where'd you get it? I use the plastic from empty oil bottles. I cut out a square piece from the front, wash it and use that to protect the rim.

Re: sliders...

yup took my tire off last night & put it back on just to see how it would work:YEAH pretty good job,I did scratch the wheel a little cuz my dumb ars didn't have it clamped tight enough and it spun in the clamp a little.(won't make that mistake again!) but yeah, other than that it was'nt to bad,at 30-40 bucks a pop to change tires this thing will pay for itself in no time -now about that $30.00 balancer.......................................... .........
