anyone seem this bike before?
sweet *** lookin bike i thought. its a 250 vtwin from what i read though. wouldnt be bad for a lady rider that didnt want a really fast bike....and i know ill probably catch heat for that one lol...
Re: anyone seem this bike before?
That is a cheap azz company from China. Mike's motorcycle was putting them together and selling them. Similar to those small 4 wheelers you can get for $100. I expect to see that bike in front of Magoo's later this year
Re: anyone seem this bike before?
Bikes are based on a Suzuki SV650 engine knock-off.
the 250cc version is air-cooled tho.
Never seen that bike for real, but every magazine actually had good words for it.
get a jap anyway.. spare parts are what matters. and i'm not sure you can find them easily for that bike.

Re: anyone seem this bike before?
Actually they are Korean made I believe. Hyosung has been around a long time, just not in the states.
Korea is the next merging market to take the rest of jobs that CHINA and JAPAN have'nt already taken. KIA, DAEWOO, HYUNDAI and all the LG Electronics are Korean based companies doing extremely well in the importing business.

Re: anyone seem this bike before?

Re: anyone seem this bike before?
they are KOREAN with additional manufacturing facilities in China,Hyosung was established in 1978-they are worth 48 million $$U.S. they produce over 200K units a year. Key products are Motorcycles, scooters, and ATV's www.hyosungmotorsusa.com.....anymore questions? oh-yeah they suck. they make a nice looking v-twin 650,but it only puts out 65HP rearwheel. so yeah it might hang w/the Harley guys but the Disturbed Riders would leave it in the dust!

Yaa, love my life, love freedom and America........it's hard for me to keep my mouth shut on crap like that. South Korea's about the size of freak'n Michigan and they have more manufacturing and tech jobs than the whole US now......glad everyone could steal our technology and benefit from it.

Korea has grown up an impressive number of tech plants due to cheap working class, and lack of anti-pollution laws.
Western and japanese industries brought technology and know-how,
formed workers and technicians down there, to build products for them at half of the industrial price. You see "Made in Malaysia" on a Sony product
since malesian workers are cheap as hell,
and plants can be built much easily.
Later, all of that know-how
were used by Koreans themselves to build products
sold with their own brand. Since someone else
told them how to do things properly, some 15 years before.
Re: anyone seem this bike before?
Yeah I actually saw that thing at the Indy expo in Feb. Had to say I was curious & scoped it out. Would save the car a lot of commuting miles & ga$. Hell, monthly payments on it are less than my Kia's gas costs.
Re: anyone seem this bike before?
Yep, I would have to think the gas mileage on that biatch would be pretty good. Actually Aprillia makes a small sport bike similar to that, but looks better. I'm not sure on the price though, probably more expenisive.
Re: anyone seem this bike before?
But it's absolutely not the same beast as this Hyosung, in quality and performance.
Problem is, it's a two stroke: Drinks as a broke bitch, and breaks like a racing bike.
Re: anyone seem this bike before?
I had the Aprilia RS50, wish I didn't just sell it recently, I ******* loved the thing! 200lb, one of the best handling bikes ever, $5 in gas lasted ages, and such a fun track bike and soooo flickable in the twisties. I took both it and my old Fizzer 6 up to Deal's Gap but ended up riding the 'Prili the whole time it was so much more fun. Yeah they're hella expensive though. I'm dying for an RSV250... wicked!!!
