Test and tune @ Stanton Sunday 10am -4pm. Its $20 this year was 15 last year but its a freshly paved track and probably the best one ive ever been too. Here is a map

billy i shoudl have my bike back friday fresh with my gears forks k&n filter, tire, oil change and valve lash and pcIII installed if you wanna go to stanton let me no you could meet me in laingsburg and we can ride up there from here (up 27 and left).... i wanna show you how to run 9's lmao its supposed to be nice i hear

 

what kinda gear do u need to run there?

 

^+1 I got away w/ runnin in my tennis shoes @ ubly(I dont have boots)If I can run my bike I'm interested-jordan-A round lake run on the way is just what the doc wanted so yeah...but I wont run 9's. got a funky clutch and uh-I suck but I love goin anyway,if I ran a 10:20 I'd be a happy guy-but I dont wanna go If I cant run my bike cuz I dont have leather pants either.(mine are joe rocket mesh) I know some other guys that will go too.

 

I wear the same thing thats why i go to ubly.

 

I am going Sunday morning Billy. Last year there wasn't much talk about equipment. You don't need boots i know that. Leather coat and pants prob some gloves and a helmet. Rule is if you run under 11.00 you have to have leathers but If you were TekniK pants im sure they wont give you problems there protective and just tell them you allergic to leather. You can always do what i did and slam on the brakes at 1/8 mile i was running 11.50 @66mph

 

now that IS funny! almost as bad as me not doin a burnout cuz I cant afford tires-or not slippin the clutch cuz I cant afford another one a them either! but not Quite I guess

 

you dont need to do a burn out anywyas i was runnin consistant 10.30's on a cold pirelli

i ran up there last year in jeans, hunting boots and a castle racing snowmobile nylon jacket.....

they did tell me at the end of the night not to come back unless i had leather and a tether.... (**** um they wont remember me...)

we should go get some assless leather chaps....

 

tell them its your first time at a drag stripa nd your thinkin abotu gettin into it and you dont think your bike will run under 11 wiht you on it then light upt he score board baby they wotn cut you off!!

Looks like we're good to go on SUNDAY morning! I got a babysitter and a thumbs up from da wify:YEAH now we just need to co-ordinate this thing I'm used to getting up @ 5 every morning so ya cant hurt me there... starts @ 10AM n takes bout 2hrs to get there? we can set a time to meet Jordan @ Citgo in Langsburg? but first we need to meet in swartz creek-uh right?
