New TV

Im looking at new TVs and cant decide on what to get I found a Panisonic 42" plasma 10,000/1 for 1300. My dad has the same tv and payed 2500 abot a year ago. I know that the best one out right now is the Pineer but I dnt have $8000 to spend so what is the best LCD, Plasma I just cant decide.

Re: New TV

We just got a Sony Grand Wega 54 inch and it's pretty cool. Made the living room look pretty small..

I think the picture on it is pretty nice but we don't have hi def yet. The Pioneer was super nice, we looked at those too and if money was not an option...8Gs is quite a bit.

Re: New TV

plasma can burn-in so if you play alot of video gazmes or stare at the tv guid portion... excessivly it can be a problem, lcd's dont have that problem, but the picture inn't quite as refined...
