If you care to let our Governor know that you support her anticipated veto of the helmet law repeal which our moronic legislature passed yesterday, the above link will get you there.

Re: Ready for your insurance to go up?

I don't care if doesn't effect my rates. I can tell you this if they don't do something to help the people smart enough to wear a helmet it would be a crying shame.

I look at no helmet laws as a good way to filter the gene pool out anyways. Any rider that cares about themselvs more then looking cool will wear a helmet anyways.

I think we have been protecting the stupid people too long. They have managed to live long enough to reproduce.

Re: Ready for your insurance to go up?

Kinda b*tchin about the government in here so I thought I'd post this up.

Get this....the government is working on a bill to place a hefty tax on fatty foods such as candy bars, soda pop, fast foods....blah, blah, blah. WTF is this country coming to? Why the hell do we have to protect all the morons out there who can't take care of themselves? Thought I lived in america. What is this crap? I hate the fact that the government tries to correct every problem in america by taxation. You know they don't give a damn about fat *** joe shmo over there, they just want his money. Damnit, I'm a firm believer in the darwin theory and all stupid people should die. When did we forget how to take care of ourselves? If someone wants to smoke, let them smoke. If someone wants to eat Mcdonalds 24/7, let them. If someone wants to ride without a helmet, let them. Soooooo Ghey!!! Dammit people, learn to be responsible for yourself and stop blaming everyone else for your problems....F*cking deal with it and correct it yourself. We don't need 8 million wonder drugs to fix the problem. All it takes is a little discipline and self control. FAWK.......I'm irritated that everyone has to suffer because of dumb people. Why do we protect them? If they die off there'll be more jobs for the smart people.

Done ranting for now.

That is a great rant... I think the goverment finds things people don't really need but buy tons of to throw hefty taxes on. If they are using this as a problem solver for fat asses it won't work just like smokers they still do it. I know a ton of smokers that said and still say if the taxes get to such and such they will stop but they never do.

Re: Ready for your insurance to go up?

Isn't this the same reason we fought off the British. Over their tax on coffee that everyone just had to have. Then started a Gov't that has seperated church and state, now taxing the **** out of everything. Time for a revolt.

OK now I am done ranting.

Don't worry I won't be shooting you. FYI this FWD runs well into what the Stock Camaros ran. And it is well out of the 15s in the 1/4 mile. So I like my odds against a basically stock Camaro. Of course the Vette wouldn't be any fun to race.

Re: Ready for your insurance to go up?

I would say Go ahead and make it your choice to ride without a helmet. But don't make my insurance go up. What if there was a stipulation in your insurance where you say you will always wear your helmet therefore your insurance rate will stay the same. But if you are caught without your helmet, you will get jacked.

As for the "fat tax" that **** is retarded. I mean, dang, my family drinks ALOT of pop and it would probably break our bank if they taxed the crap out of it. How much money does the government think they can get from us?

I bet Hillary will fix it all in '08. Of course that is if ANYTHING is left of this country by the time Bush is done.
