Hey Cuddles.............
I noticed brokers changed GM stock to "Buy" and the stock has increased 30% since you left a few months ago, is there any corelation to that.

That's the thing, for the most part, you can get away with pretty much anything in the group forums. except for a few exceptions...

Thanks Jarsh, you pretty much summed it up.
Here I was thinking I would have to retaliate with "Well Dan no wonder they're doing so well, what with a new, exciting lineup of gigantic SUVs when gas is $3/gallon and rising. GENIUS!" or “Of course, look at the quality products like the Malibu Jake and I rented to go to New Jersey that handled like drunken mule!”

That bad idea/new SUV wasn't that bad of an idea because they are flying off the lots. And to be real gas mileage is better on the new SUV then the olds ones. So would it be smart to not revamp a product and offer better gas mileage when gas is $3.00 a gallon? Also having a model out that is 6 years old other then sheet metal changes is bad for the bottom line. I doubted the new SUV idea when they made it number one priority but it is actually working and to be truthful it makes sense.
As far as your rental car I think you hit that on the button it is a rental car. Do you think those vehicle are taken care of? Why do you think GM has been shying away from rental vehicle fleets lately? One reason would be people believing that a rental car is treated that same as a personally owned car.
Take it from someone that drives many different vehicles platforms GM and other manufactures. GM cars handle equal to if not better then what the vehicles they are up against. I am defending GM in a time where I am pissed off at the company. But I won't let my feelings for how the company is being ran taint the truth about the quality and some of the decisions being made.

PS: Dan told me to get you fired up about this too. LOL
Re: Hey Cuddles.............
Short of painting the number on the side I treat a rental car like Johny Knoxville. I took a 4X4 Suburban up Mt Hood in Oregon with sole intent of rolling it over, but I got it stuck first.
