Red Wings............

To bad the wings had to loose because of poor officials. Not only was the tying goal kicked in, but hit with a high stick before that. I just hate it when the ref's ****-tate the outcome of the games. Oh well, that's what they get for building a small puzzzy assed team that can't hit and rely on a goalie that was backup for 8 years.

Sorry, I'm pisssed and want all my time back spent watching them this year.

Re: Red Wings............

One the high stick was *not* a high stick below crossbar.. second it was *waist* high the puck when it bounced off post and I think old man lindstrum shoved it in via Oilers.

I remember someone saying Oilers in Six and hmm THAT WAS ME! Bab**** is a puppet coach and is run by the higher ups ala Ken Holland and the superstars on the team. he couldn't adjust to playoff hockey as well as a solution for Oilers trap.. Sorry but I think Steve Y is done, as well as some other big names.

Defense was pathetic even Lindstrum was horrid, and anyone who thought Manny would be a good goalie during playoffs was only lying to themselves. **** I could had a winning percentage with the wings and their patsy opponents this year. The new rules had the wings playing *in* their pathetic divison more then ever this year (only team worth anything was nashville) and it made it look like they were better then they were. Only true hockey fans seen this, the bandwagon wings fan thought they were the greatest team ever.. hardly.

Now the wings fan can hang up the hockey hat for this year, because we know they are not hockey fans but wings fans. Once the wings are out they do not watch hockey and that is why they are bandwagon loosers.

Hockey is not over for us fans until the cup is raised. :YEAH

Thank you and anyone wanting more lock picks this playoff season my handicapping service is open for clients.

I'll give ya the goalie call, Legacy stunk. The wings were great though, just couldn't adjust to playoff hockey like they should have. They need a new goalie and little more grit and they'll be all set for next year.

i agree. what team can give up 4 goals in one period? not the wings unless the officials want the opposing team to win. just strenghthens my theory that canadians are s hit.

Re: Red Wings............

As much as I wanted them to win it all I believe the wings deserved to lose. They stank throuought the entire series. It seemed like they didn't try anything to combat that neutral zone Trap, they just kept the same strategy throughout each game. And each time they would get shut down in the neutral zone.

As far as Golies go, yeah, Manny probably wasn't up to the challenge of runnin the whole series, but what can ya do? Osgood gets hurt, so we get a rookie *** backup. NO way would he be allowed to come into the game unless manny got hurt.

It's unfortunate that this is probably the last time we will see Steve Yzerman on the ice (although the way he was playing at the end of the year I wouldn't be suprised if we see him again next year) but the guy is what like 41 this week and beat all to hell. BUt I guess we will see what happens next year.
