Dyno'd
So....I have a full titanuim Arata Exhaust, a K&N, and a Power Commander on my CBR600RR...
Took that ***** to rayC's today and talked to them a bit about getting'r dyno'd. Went to powercommander.com and got new mapping for it after the k&n was installed and they have NOTHING for Full Arata except for stock air filters. After the k&n was installed...and the new map was uploaded...3rd wants to pull up on its own...its just sick. BUT, my question is...should i shell out the 400 bucks to get it dyno'd or you guys think i'm ****ing things up with all that extra jazz on my ride? I put racing fuel in it too so it runs like a raped ape..heh. Let me know if its worth it...or if anyone has had theird dyno'd and how much REAL difference its made...

Pulling up on its own in 3rd? Hmm.. did you change sprockets too? I dont see that unless your yanking hard on the bars.. but anyway...
You will get a better map on the dyno and it will run better overall. Is it worth it..? That's up to you.. if it is then I wouldnt take it to Ray C's take it to someone who knows how to dyno and map.. I recommend Brighton Superbikes.

Don't take it to Ray C's....
You can get it Dyno'd for Free (or a hell of alot cheaper) out at vo-tech...
Call Stan out there and seee if there is a charge, and if he can set you up with an appointment...

Do they know what they are doing??? I took my VTX out to Ray C's and had to take it back after the first map to get it right and had to bring my own map for him to start from, also he didn't know you could make a dual map, one for each cylinder, nice guy , just didn't have the skillz.

the thing is, I think my bro may have left for Georga for the next race cause I saw him gathering his suit case last night... little bastard just got back from there last week, and now they are headded back....
Re: Dyno'd
103 octane is fine for your bike...it has enough compression...but it is a waste of money...doesnt make the bike any faster...but it smells more gooder...
the only way to realy set a bike up properly is to have it dyno-tuned..i would recommend it. Those are generic maps you download and every bike is different....
i'm heading to one next week...
