The mounds yesterday..

We had a blast out there.... although rick was an hour and a half late and lucky didn't fill his bike up before we went and didn't bring any gas with him so lucky left 1/2 hour after rick showed up.... then rick and I rode around for another hour and rick decides he is going to go through the water/mud pit... its about 6-8 inches deep, no problem, then he decides to wheelie through it.... he makes it about 1/2 way... spashes down and rides out. He then decides that if the small puddle was fun the much larger puddle would be much more fun... so he lines up and heads across... 1/2 way across no prblem,,,8-10 inches deep.... just then the quad dissapears! there is a sinkhole right in the middle and now all you see are his handlebars..... he hops offf the quad and the rear starts floating!, he pulls it backwards out of the pond and on to dry land... we tip it up on end and water pours out of the exhaust... atleast a gallon..... it was more water than I thought the exhaust could hold... then we put it down and pull the airbox plug... another 3/4 of a gal out of that... we pulled the plug and it was dry and the oil appeared not to have been contaminated.... we start it fup and after 30-seconds of crappy running it took off.... we checked the oil again and it was a little cloudy (water in oil) so that was the end to the day.. but made for an intresting adventure..

LMAO.... Your better bring some extra oil. I am not sure how good it is to soak the engine in water is though. May be bad for the seals also. But well worth seeing.

its fine on the seals... but it sux getting all the water out of the oil, sometimes it takes 3 or more oil changes to get it all out...

See above quote. Other than adding only one word, the rest was done by only removing words.....I didn't even have to rearrange any of them Make sure to read it all and compare to orginal quote if you like.

I'm begining to wonder what really went on at the mounds.

Jeff

After that, I'm thinking Rick might be missing his old lady a little much.
