Come remember Phil with us on February 16th
All of us that knew Phil Jones will be getting together on his birthday, February 16th. Right now it looks like it might take place at Hooters, but Rube's is also a possibility. Anyone that has pictures are encouraged to bring them, either digitally or hardcopy. PC's and burners will be present, so copies can be made for anyone that would like some. I'll post up more details as they become available.

Phil moved down to Florida this past year while I was gone in Iraq. I didn't get to see him before I left. Early this morning around 2am, Phil had his last accident and left us.

Re: Some of you may remember Phil Jones...
Yep I remember Phil, One of the first real stunters around here about five or so years ago. What happend Mark, was it on his bike or car? Thanks for keeping us posted.
Re: Some of you may remember Phil Jones...
He was out at the bar with his bike. I'm not clear as to whether he was headed to another bar or going home, but he hit the median and flipped over it. No helmet. They were keeping him on life support pending a decision by his parents regarding organ donation and let him go approx 2 hours ago.
We imagine that his parents may be en route to Florida right now. I would think that they would choose to bring him back, but I will post details here regarding whatever services they decide on when the information becomes available. Word was circulated through the ranks of what used to be FTP rather quickly, but I would ask that those of you who still keep in contact with people who knew and rode with Phil that we don't see often (like the Lapeer crew) or who do not have internet access to please pass the word.

Yeah I remember Phil he was out tw oseasons ago a few times. I remember him getting blastered on Bristol Rd by a drunk chick. We thought he was dead but he jumped up and took off on someone elses bike. He made it through some SCARY *** crashes up here in Michigan. This really sucks he was a great guy and could really ride a bike.
