I Can See!!
All you people born with perfect vision are bastards... this kiks azz!! My lasik went great.... now I have 20/20 in my left eye and 20/15 in my right (the left is slightly swollen so the doc thinks it will get better! ) so I am pumped, no more contacts drying out when riding! :YEAH :YEAH

I had Lasik done just before I left for Iraq last September. No way I was going to deal with galsses in the desert - you can't wear contacts here. Went with the extra Zyoptic procedure to try and eliminate as much halo at night as possible. They tested me at 20/15 in both eyes and didn't have a chart for 20/10. I went to LasikMD in Windsor, Dr. Bain. A number of people from our Company all went to him and everybody was extremely pleased. I would highly recommend him. My procedure cost about $2300 and that was the high-end work with the 5-year warranty. There are much less expensive options, especially if your eyes are not so bad and you just don't want the hassle of contacts anymore. I could see noticeably better right off the table and after a 5 hour nap I could look out my kitchen window and see individual leaves on trees all the way across the Highland backyard. Was back behind the wheel the next morning with no problems. One thing I would caution people on is sticking to the eyedrop regimen. If you don't stick to the schedule, especially the steroid drops, your eyes can swell. I missed an application or two early on and noticed a distortion within hours. Used extra drops for the next half-day and I was right back on track.

Now that this surgery has been done for about 15 years, people that had it done back then are starting to lose their vision and not able to fix it. I just seen a 20/20 special on it, they are close to banning any further surgerys.

You lie! You probably have astigmitism and can't have it done.
I believe you are referring to the original technology that was developed in Russia - early RK procedures. Last time I heard about any of it, they were about to start correcting farsighted people as well.

Oh yeah, I made the whole thing up.........sounded funny to me at the time though. I think the special I seen was about spanking your monkey for 15 years will cause vision loss.
