How am I the tree hugger when you are the one asking for the hand out? Isn't that ironic? The guy that isn't asking for the hand out is the tree hugger but the guy who is like let's see what we get is the TRUE AMERICAN!? So I guess you should STFU Hippie boy and realize that it is a one sided relationship and we are like the parents to the world, and they aren't paying rent we are!

Instead of b!tching about what isn't happening look at what is happening in regard to the fact that we are a nation that can stand alone and on our two feet.
But everyone has to be the best and everyone has to have the best and the common good doesn't matter in this country. So don't be shocked when nations that have Globalized health care and aide...look here and notice the American Egotism and how everything is about what "I" get and "me, me, me" fu<C></C>ck the group and go they don't need our help. Because we (as a country) don't display a help me sign, because the government doesn't allow it.
How else could they find reasons to raise taxes and propose new bills on how to generate money off the individuals in society? This whole event is tragic and has presented a very good opportunity for the oil companies to nail us to a wall and for the government to raise our taxes or find another avenue to make money.

Wow, and I bet in a week nothing will be different! Oh no, what will we do...I mean California alone has the world's 8th largest GDP...8th? Out of all the countries we Rank first and then one of our states Ranks 8th shortly afterwards...so boo fu<C></C>cking hoo danny boy. We have to do **** on our own, wow being all independent and ****..which was and has been this countries goal since the begining. WE alienated ourselves from recieving aid and assistance shortly after we formed our government. No one said ***** America they (other countries) just wonder how we do it!

All I needed to see is the word "GPD", which made know the thread was you talking about what little you just learned in your ECON class.Oh, yeah. You can read all you want about Econ, the only chart you really ever need to look at is Imports vs Exports. Try taking money out of your bank daily and never putting any in..........you'll be broke before long. A five year old can figure that one out "MR.GDP"

So I heard 24 countries are sending aid for disaster relief. I'm sure it will be fractions of a penny of what we have sent them, yadda, yadda, yadda. Our friend to the north in Canada are sending us some stuff so we don't take over their country and steal all their natural resources. Even France is sending aid! ****ing France! Guess they appreciate the fact we have bailed out those cheese eating surrender monkeys every time.

First of all, quit ragging on France.......that's FLIPS homeland.
Second of all, yes Japan came through with a huge contribution of 200K..........shittt, we spent that much in our group on japanese sport bikes.

Thirdly, has everyone noticed its turned into a race thing somehow. We were slow to get everyone because they were minoritys.............not that the whole city was surrounded by 20 foot of water with snakes, no electricity, roads and pollution and the fact that everyone trying to help was getting raped or shot.
GIVE ME A BREAK FOR ONCE

The hurricane devastated New Orleans and other parts of theUS Gulf Coast, killing hundreds and possibly thousands.
"Anything that can be of help to alleviate the tragic situation of the area affected by Hurricane Katrina will be accepted," said State Department spokesman Sean McCormack.
"America should be heartened by the fact that the world is reaching out to America at a time of need," he added.
Earlier, President George W. Bush said in a television interview that the United States could take care of itself.
"I'm not expecting much from foreign nations because we hadn't asked for it. I do expect a lot of sympathy and perhaps some will send cash dollars. But this country's going to rise up and take care of it," Bush told ABC's "Good Morning America."
McCormack said there had not been a change of position over accepting foreign aid and White House spokesman Scott McClellan also said the United States would take up offers of help.
The State Department said offers so far had come from Belgium, Canada, Russia, Japan, France, Germany, Britain, China, Australia, Jamaica, Honduras, Greece, Venezuela, the Organization of American States, NATO, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Greece, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Mexico, South Korea, Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
Assistance ranged from medical teams, boats, aircraft, tents, blankets, generators and cash donations.
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon wrote to Bush offering medical teams that specialized in trauma and natural disasters and said they could be ready in 24 hours.
"During these difficult times, we, the people of Israel stand firmly by your side in a show of solidarity and friendship," said the letter, which was released by the Israeli Embassy in Washington.
Where the United States really needs help is getting cheap oil and the Bush administration will be approaching Arab nations and other oil producers over the coming days.
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, a vocal critic of the United States, offered to send cheap fuel, humanitarian aid and relief workers to the disaster area.
The State Department did not comment on Venezuela's offer but several officials smiled at the gesture from Chavez, who on Wednesday called Bush a "cowboy" who failed to manage the disaster.
Cuban President Fidel Castro, a close Chavez ally, led a minute of silence in remembrance of the victims of Katrina in parliament on Thursday. The parliament then returned to normal business with a resolution attacking Bush over the Iraq war.

Are you done with the US is such a phucked over country? Are you done with the woah is me and woah is us BS?
Funny huh...you are all pissed about something and the country continually tells other countries no we are "fine"...hmm! The measly 200k was most likely a pitty offering after being told the gift was no good.
So back to my original statement: Accept the fact we are the parents of the world and we will pay for anything and not ask for it in return!!
